The laser distance measuring sensor should be corrected by temperature compensation.
In general, ultrasonic generators can be divided into two categories: one is to generate ultrasonic waves electrically, and the other is to generate ultrasonic waves by mechanical means. Electrical methods include piezoelectric type, magnetostrictive type and electric type; mechanical methods include Galvin flute, liquid whistle and air stream whistle. The frequency of the ultrasonic waves they generate, the power of the laser ranging sensor, and the characteristics of the acoustic waves are different, so the uses are also different. At present, the ultrasonic ultrasonic sensor of the piezoelectric ultrasonic generator is usually used by the time-lapse method, that is, the distance of the object to be measured is calculated by using s=vt/2. Where s is the distance between the transceiver and the object being measured, v is the propagation velocity of the ultrasonic wave in the medium (v = 331.41+T/273m/s), and t is the round-trip time interval of the ultrasonic wave. The working principle is as follows: the ultrasonic wave emitted from the hair propagates in the air at the speed v, and is reflected back by the surface when reaching the object to be measured, and is received by the receiving head, and the round-trip time is t, and the distance of the measured object is calculated by s. T is the ambient temperature, and this effect needs to be considered when the quantity accuracy is high. However, in general, this method can be discarded and adjusted by software. The ultrasonic ranging sensor is also a kind of sound wave, and its sound velocity c is related to temperature. Table 1 lists the sound velocities at several different temperatures. In use, if the temperature does not change much, the speed of sound can be considered to be substantially constant. If the ranging accuracy is very high, the laser ranging sensor should be corrected by temperature compensation. After the speed of sound is determined, the distance can be determined by measuring the time of the ultrasonic round trip. This is the principle of ultrasonic ranging.
