Brief description of three types of laser range finder

Laser range finder generally uses two methods to measure distance: phase method and pulse method. The two methods have outstanding advantages in precision and distance. Today's laser rangefinders are accurate to millimeter accuracy and are ideal for a wide range of high precision measurements.

1. Handheld laser range finder

The measurement range of the handheld laser range finder is generally within 200 meters with an accuracy of about 2 mm. Because of its small size, convenient carrying, and simple operation, the application range is very wide. In addition to being able to measure distances, it is usually also possible to measure the area volume.

2. Telescope laser range finder

This type of laser range finder measures the distance generally about 500-3000 meters, the measurement distance is far, but the accuracy is relatively low, the accuracy is generally about 1 meter. Can be applied to outdoor long distance measurements, such as golf, hunting and so on.

3. Industrial laser range finder

The measuring distance is about 0.5-3000 meters, the precision is less than 50mm, and the reflector is added 300 meters away. Some products can also measure the speed while measuring. Mainly used in position control, such as vehicles and ships; positioning cranes; loading and unloading and handling equipment; aircraft measurement, mainly for measuring flight height; metallurgical process control; measuring unsuitable objects, such as pipe fillings, pipes, containers, etc. Water level measurement.
