What is an analog output?
Nov 08, 2019
The analog output of the computer or control system is called the analog output. In the single-chip microcomputer control system, the analog signal in the output signal is a lot. They are obtained by the digital signal output from the single-chip microcomputer after being processed by the analog output channel. The task of the analog output channel is to pass the digital signal processed by the computer through the data bus and the isolation device, and then convert it into an analog voltage or current signal through the D/A converter, and then amplify to drive the corresponding actuator, thereby achieving The purpose of control.
Introduction to the output channel:
The analog output channel is generally composed of an interface circuit, a D/A converter, and a voltage/current converter. Usually, the analog output channel is also referred to as a D/A channel or an AO channel.
Executive agency:
In practical applications, some need to complete one-way digital to analog conversion, and most actual control systems often need to control multiple actuators, that is, to complete multi-channel digital to analog conversion. Therefore there are two forms of analog output channels to choose from. The executing agency and the controlled object are closely related to the control task. The structure of the analog output interface depends mainly on the type, size, number of actuator input signals and the operating environment in which the output channels are located.
