JRT Long Range Sensor Testing: How to Test Pulse Module Sensors

In the previous news, we introduced a new product - PTFS pulsed laser ranging module，you may know that we have some laser distance sensors with very long range, like 400m, 700m and 1,200m. Today, we are gonna to show you how to test these sensors with our test software.

After ordering these sensors, you will get the test software and user manual from us.

The operation process of the test software:

Double click the test software icon to run it.

Then select the correct port;

Choose the correct baud rate, for this sensor, it’s 115200.

Open the port;

Click the test button.

You will see the distance on the screen, for example, “52dm” means the distance is 5.2meter.

It also will show the working frequency, “1hz”.

If you want to stop the measurement, just click the stop button.
