IT02S is an optical instrument whose operation is affected by environmental conditions. Therefore, the range that can be achieved in application is different, and the ranging accuracy is not affected by such factors. The following conditions may affect the measurement range: target surface, air particles, sunlight intensity.

Reasons affecting the measurement accuracy of the laser ranging module

(1) The surface is transparent

In order to avoid measurement errors, please do not measure on the surface of transparent objects, such as colorless liquid (such as water) or glass (dust-free). For unfamiliar materials or liquids, test it first. When aiming through a glass window or when there are several targets on the line of sight, measurement errors may occur.

(2) Wet, high gloss / mirror surface

When the aiming angle is small, the laser is reflected off. At this time, the signal received by the device will be too weak to affect the accuracy / range. When the target is a mirror or other object, the laser signal will be reflected, resulting in a weak signal received by the device, and the distance from the device to the target may not be measured.

(3) bevel and round surface

The measurement can only be performed when the target area is large enough to accommodate the laser spot.

(4) Multipath reflection

When the laser light returned from other objects exceeds the target reflected light, erroneous measurement results may occur. Avoid various reflectors on the measuring light path.
