How to use Arduino to test laser ranging module

Hello everyone, I am very glad that you have chosen Chengdu Jingruite!

Customers who purchase laser ranging sensors at Jingruite often ask, can our laser ranging module be connected to Arduino? I want to say that it is ok. So next, I will give you a brief description of how our customers use Arduino to test our ranging module.

First of all, customers often choose our early 703A version.

In addition, the following are some precautions before using the module. For other reasons, please refer to the instruction manual:

1. Hardware connection, you need to solder these wires: 1) Power cable, our module power supply is usually 3.0V or 3.3V, ground wire GND, receiving line RX, transmission line TX, continuous measurement control line, boot control line , where the power supply is about 3.0V; (Note: if there are other voltage requirements, you can use an external power supply)

2. The receiving line RX of the module, please connect the wiring to the TX line above the Arduino.

3. The transmission line TX of the module, the wiring should be connected to the RX position of the receiving line above the Arduino.

4. The control commands of our module are single-character ASCII codes. Please do not check HEX to send the module.

5. Ensure that the module has been powered on via the power-on control line before sending the command.
